First United Methodist Church is happy to help provide counseling services to the Covington community by our partnership with Cindy Pease and Faye Beckett, licensed counselors who provide counseling at First UMC.
Fees for services are based on the individual and/or family income.
The Counseling Center is available by appointment.
Counselor Cindy Pease combines the resources of psychology and spirituality to assist people in balancing their emotional, behavioral, and relational health. Cindy is a nationally certified, licensed professional counselor with mental health service provider status. Her professional memberships are with the American Counselors Association and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She has a private practice at St. Ann’s Church in Bartlett. A native Memphian she graduated with her undergraduate degree from U.T. in Knoxville. She received her graduate degree in counseling from University of Memphis. She has been married for over 30 years and has a son and a daughter and grandson. Cindy works with people with various problems, such as depression and/or anxiety, self esteem issues, grief separation and divorce, marriage counseling, marriage preparation, post traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, and anything associated with stress and suffering. Cancellations should be made 24 hours in advance or charges may be incurred.
